Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Megamum, Core strength is important and for tele you have to add leg strength and endurance . . . which can't hurt my boarding or alpine . . . Let's face it, half the problems we have skiing are founded in simple leg strength/endurance.

What on earth stops you from rolling off the front or the back? My lounge floor is fairly level, but level enough for me to hop onto a set of rollers on my skis? You crazy Mr Masque. I can't even describe the idea of lifting weights on such a device.

Masque, I haven't bought small pants since I was 12. This just seems like masochist craziness. You might as well have someone come into your house and force you into stress positions for 3 hours.

Seems like it might mess up my already pretty fragile technique seeing as it does everything except edge. I guess getting close to real use is good for muscle memory and all that jazz but if you only get very close to real thing it becomes counter productive?

Plus there's no impact which is the real killer for the legs, jumping off a 12 inch high platform into Tele stance and repeat is probably a much better prep

A la this freak:
