Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

St. Anton Westterminal / Ostterminal

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hello,

I'm going to St. Anton on the 2nd of Feb and have booked the Arlberg Express - I can't figure out if we need to get off at the Westterminal or Ostterminal?

Our hotel (Garni Rundeck) is pretty close to the train station - https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=hotel+garni+rundeck&hl=en&ll=47.128199,10.265694&spn=0.025256,0.052142&sll=47.129279,10.262561&sspn=0.025372,0.052142&hq=hotel+garni+rundeck&t=m&z=15

can anyone point out on google maps where the bus terminals are?

Cheers

James

West terminal would be the closest. Laptop's not letting me load the map, but west terminal is by the roundabout on the main road (197) and ost terminal is where nassereinstrasse meets the main road

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Get off at the west terminal, which is the first one they stop at, then walk straight down Dorfstrasse (main street). Just print out directions before you leave, it should only take you 10 minutes to walk to Rundeck. I've been with Arlberg Express before with some mates and the driver asked us where we were staying and dropped us off there, so you may be lucky. Have a good one!!!!

j4meseaton, Rundeck is a very nice hotel, I was in St Anton in the summer and they were doing loads of work extending there. I'll be there 2nd Feb also, not at Rundeck though.......great time of year to go, good choice! Yes its west terminal, 2-3 minute walk, just walk from the bus station up the main road with Jennewein shop on your right, straight on down the pedestrian zone at the roundabout, 100m on your right down a small road. 150m max from Galzigbahn, still 100m further than the Angelika where we stay though! wink . Have fun!
