Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Avoriaz/Morzine January 2013

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Guys, am off to Avoriaz in a month and can't wait!

I know the nightlife is meant to be really good in Morzine but does anyone know how we would get back up to Avoriaz after midnight?

Thanks!

Ricklovesthepowder, and how do you get to Prodains?

shnfox, just don't even think of it. Daft idea. Avoriaz plenty good enough.

Friday and Sat nights the cable-car runs on the hour 'til midnight. Other nights 9pm. But the shuttle-buses from Prodains to Morzine stop at 7pm! Confused So if you're taking a later cc you need to book cabs (hitching down is easy, just ask around on the cc - doesn't work on the way up though).

Otherwise it's cabs top-to-bottom, 45 mins each way (all bets off if it's dumping), 40-60 euros each way. DallyPaul on here is a good bet.

Or find a nice warm chalet-girl's bed in Morzine and get back up in the morning!! snowHead

But honestly, don't bother. Morzine apres is crap compared to Avoriaz. Morzine is a French/Brit family resort where everyone tucks themselves up in their honesty-bared, DVD'd-up chalets for the evening. Avoriaz is a totally international (lots of Scandies, Spanish etc. wink ) young crowd here to party, not to stay in in their tiny bare rabbit hutches - many great bars and 2 clubs all within 5 mins walk of each other, no need to worry about driving home), loads of live music etc etc. We go up to Avoriaz if we want a good night out!!

shep, given that it's quite overdue and notwithstanding this summer's excellent soiree, just when did you last go up to Avoriaz for a really, really big night out?

And perhaps we should arrange one this season? Twisted Evil
