I had to get Mr 3VSki a white helmet and red / orange pants to go with his black jacket just so I could see him on the slopes!

A sunny birthday with a higher (less cold) temperature than during the days before. At the end of the day a little less sunny due to some thin high clouds.

The beautiful and sunny weather continues. Nice skies with big white clouds.
But also some misty periods around the 3000+ summits. It was again very crowded at the main 3-V liaison lifts. Most piste have hard packed snow.

For the timing being Monday was the last beautiful spring day. It seems that the next days will give no sunshine, but snow and some rain.

A stormy day. Most of the lifts were closed. Grey in the morning and some sunshine in the afternoon. Severe wind gusts and sometimes storm above 1800 meter. Temperature at 2000 meter just above zero. Good conditions for a walk through the wetlands between St Marcel and Bettex.

The predicted rain and snow for today did not arrived, but the wind was during the morning too strong. Most lifts closed or opened during the afternoon and the 3-V liaisons closed. At Croisette this night tribute to Vincent Jay, the Olympic champion biathlon 2010. Mulled wine, offered; hot chocolate offered and fireworks. Followed by NORDIC SKIING NIGHT TOUR at La Croisette. Team Sprint of 2 on a 800m circuit.

A grey morning, but by surprise the afternoon was super. A clear blue sky, light wind and good soft snow on the pistes. At several places the effects of the storm of the last two days was clearly visible.

It was snowing lightly during the whole day. Most of the dirty snow is now covered with a fresh layer of a few centimeters. At 2000 meter the temperature was above zero and down in the valley it was raining. Low visibility and foggy on the pistes.

During the day the weather improved. The cover of grey clouds opened more and more. This gave the sun a little chance to lighten up the mountains. In the afternoon big beautiful white clouds came up from the valleys. After the minor snowfall of yesterday the snow on the pistes at higher altitudes was perfect.

A sunny day with a blue sky and big clouds. The temperature was a little lower and it is still very busy on the pistes. Very wet and slushy snow at the lower pistes (1500 meter) in Mottaret and Méribel.

Nearly the same weather as yesterday. During early morning some snowfall in Val Thorens and Meribel. And again very nice big cumulus clouds everywhere.

The morning was beautiful with some sunshine and big clouds. During the afternoon there came more and more clouds and sometimes light snowfall.
The snowconditions on the pistes roughly between 2500-3000 are very good. Below 2000 meter there is a lot of wet, soft snow. Temperature varied between zero and +4 degrees. At the tops light southwest wind.

Again it is colder and the temperature is below zero. The day started beautiful with a blue sky. During the afternoon the clouds came up from the valleys and the sun disappeared.
Sometimes it was so foggy that the sight was less than 10 meters. Skiing from pole to pole with the solution to come down safely.

A very bad day. It was snowing, moderate winds and very cold. Not a good day for skiing. On top of the old snow there is now a fresh layer of 15 cm. It looks and feels like the winter has started again.

It was very cold today. The temperature stayed below -10 degrees and at higher altitude with the wind it was horrible. Sometimes it was foggy, but there were also sunny spells. The fresh snow made the pistes very easy to ski.

During most of the morning light snowfall. In the afternoon clouds, sun and some blue skies. Amount of snowfall in the last 24 hours was 10 cm. Good snow on the pistes above 2000 meter. A lot of tourists from England and Belgium.

Between 10.00 and 15.00 the weather was nice and sunny. The rest of the day the sky was covered with high clouds.

The sun was not strong enough to break through the clouds. It was grey and foggy and only a few times it seems that the sun was coming through.
A lot of snow everywhere, temperatures just above zero and under this circumstances good skiing will be possible to the end of the season.

Misty and grey was this day. At the end of the last night there was some snowfall. A few centimeters of fresh white snow covered the old snow layers.
During nearly the whole day fine snowflakes came down.

This Saturday started very good and ended very poor. Sunshine during the morning, but around noon it became hazy. At the end the afternoon misty and some light snowfall. The pistes were well prepared, flat and depending on the altitude very different from dry snow, soft snow, fondant to slushy.
