Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi this year we thought about doing this from Canazei
http://www.dolomitisuperski.com/8354/8354-en.pdf?ccode=en-US
Is it achievable in a day? Previously we have travelled half of it to Alleghe via the bottom of Marmolada and Sottoguda gorge then spent a couple of hours there before taking the bus back to above the Mamolada gondolas and skied back via Arabba.
It looks straight forward on the map bus from other side of Alleghe (Pescul) up to Fedare and then skiing the fairly new link over to Lagazuoi.
Anybody done it?
First lift, crack on, how hard could it be??

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Found this earlier post, which suggests it is achievable without too much drama, would be getting the bus on the other side of the gorge to Alleghe though.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

there was discussion about this last year (if I remember right..). It looks a lot to do in one day (allowing for queques and waiting for busses) - and dont forget the Canazei-Arabba then Arabba-Canazei bit........!
Goinging clockwise u could cut out the Corvara section (by goinging Arabba/Passo Campolongo/Armentorola)
found this for u
"...From maestro luigi,
The bus timings do make a difference, the Malga Ciapela/Sottoguda-Alleghe service runs pretty frequently every 10-15 mins, but the Pescul-Fedare service is one bus each way (we met the other on one of the hairpin bends onthe Passo Giau), so the departures are at 30min intervals, at quarter past and quarter to the hour, here's the timetable:

probably will be much the same this year....."

Freddie Paellahead, We arrive the following day, six of us.
I take it you have sorted your own flights etc as opposed to doing a tour op?
