Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ladies Skis Dynastar Active vs. Rossignol Attraxion 3 Echo

Hi,

I am looking to buy my first set of skis (I am sick of the hit and miss quality of rentals).

Having done some research and asked around ski shops I think I have narrowed my choice down to either Dynstar Active or Rossignol Attraxion 3 Echo.

A little about myself. I am a cautious intermediate skier. I like to feel safe and in control and am not a fan of going too fast. I am happiest on blue runs. I am looking for a ski that will do me over the next few seasons as I improve.

Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Mrs Basil skis similar to you and skied for a few years on some of the older Rossi Passion 1's She felt she had outgrown them so last year hired some Attraxion 3 Echos and thought they were a good upgrade. We did find some Passion 3's on ebay so we bought them but had been looking for the Echos at the right price. For what its worth I reckon they would do fine.

Thanks Basil. They guy in EB was recommending them but I wasn't sure if that was because they cost more than the Dynastars!
