Anyone see any snow forecast for the Southern Tyrol /Val Gardena Valley? The area had a drop on Nov 5th, but none since. We're out there in three weeks, a big dump between now and then would go down a treat.

for what its worth netweather is showing a very respectable dump from monday 26th and then turning very cold after that - still a bit too far out to be absolutely certain but looking like it might give a decent start and the cold weather means the snow cannons can get going so should be fine!

I'm out there week after New Year and i am already feeling a bit anxious about the conditions. Does look a bit snow baron at the mo though.

Kel, there you go then - as long it's cold enough for the cannons I don't see any reason to panic - and I'm off there too mid- Jan - that's a long time away! Resort isn't due to open for another 2 weeks yet! Chill out guys - it's a bit early in the season for snow paranoia!

Spent this weekend in Cortina. Only one lift open in Faloria, as the season doesn't really kick off till next weekend. With that said, conditions were great, and there was some fun off piste to be had. Had a powder refresher last night, which filled the off piste back in a bit.
