looking to get new boots , maybe in the sales.
someone mentioned on a previous thread( maybe at the other place), about a good boot fitter , ? the boot locker or something similar. advice please, otherwise will just head to snow and rock.

If you happen to be going to France Meribel/Courchevel/Val d'Isère next trip, it might be worth waiting..... get a trip in before the end of the season, and you might get a good discount too! Some of the best bootfitters are in those resorts in France.

I'd wait until you're in a resort, preferably a US or Canadian one. The prices will be good (although probably not as good as UK sale prices) and you can go back every evening throughout your stay and have them tweaked (that way you save the cost of the boots by not going to the pub).
