Poster: A snowHead

Does anyone know where I can find indoor picnic areas (Salles hors sac) in Paradiski. So far I have found 2 in La Plagne, 1 at the bottom of the Bergerie chair and one at the top of the Champagny chair. Are there others around?
Merci

scski, Welcome to snowHeads
Those are the two I know of...I don't think there are any others...
There are benches within the shopping corridors in Plagne Centre and also in the corridor near the tourist office there is an area with 3 or 4 rows of benches.
Similarly at Aime2000 in the car ferry

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

There was at least one on the Les Arcs side. Large modern barn-like building which had toilets as well as benches. Can't remember exact location but think it's just below Belvedere piste on route between Arc 2000 and Arc 1800. Also one or two seats under cover in small shopping area in Arcs 1600, near Cachette hotel.

scski, the one mentioned above in Les Arcs is very cold as it is a golf driving range in summer. There are no other places in Les Arcs. BUT you can use the shopping areas as mentioned already. They really need to do something about this, but the resort are not interested. We have asked many times.

Thanks for the info guys. I will check out the shopping centers. Red27, downriding a bubble goes against all my instincts.

Just put my mind at rest, you are not a resort rep for one of Slippery's new ventures? He used this idea a lot

scski, pack lunches go against mine - but desperate times require desperate measures
At least you'll be able to indulge your guilty secret in the privacy of the cabine rather than getting pitiful looks while hanging around the mall with the rest of the 'scutters'

No I am not a resort rep, I am chalet hosting with my girlfriend in Montchavin. Packed lunches save a lot of money compared to eating in mountain restaurants everyday.

scski, Thanks I was afraid that slippery rode again: Friends in Tignes who are seasonaires do the same thing, I have christened them les sandwichaires and have provided them caps with logos, much to their chagrin.
