Poster: A snowHead

Help! I am looking for a shared transfer company from Genève to Val d'isere (transfer going Saturday – returning mid week (Tuesday – New Years day)). I am having trouble finding a company that will do a shared transfer on the return (Tuesday) apart from the a scheduled Alti – bus & Bens bus. Does anyone know of any shared transfer companies that may be able to help? Private transfers are around 600 Euros!

How many of you are there? If two or three, probably easiest just to rent a car from Geneva (French side). Assume about £250.
If you don't like the car idea, try the local bus and train. Bus from Val d'Isère to Bourg St Maurice is about EUR10 www.mobisavoie.fr, and from Bourg St Maurice to Geneva is about EUR30. Both run on New Year's Day, and you can do a single or return. For trains see www.voyages-sncf.fr It's an easy trip to do.

Although that 'corner of a foreign field' that is VD is part of Little Britain, I think it is, technically speaking, still in the alps
