Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Are these a good buy?

I'm looking to get myself a 2nd hand pair of park skis, somewhere around the 162-169 range and I was wondering whether these Scott's on ebay are a decent price. I really just want some skis that I can throw around in the park without too much worry about damage and also a pair I can use at the local dry slope without worrying about serious rust etc.

I know they have the Scott S12 bindings which means that they are a little bit heavier, but it also means I can move the bindings forward to the central mount stance. Are they worth the money, given that they are second hand?

Scott s12 is a Salomon 12 which is quite light plastic binding, When new the punisher was a £350+ ski without a binding. He accept returns so it is not a pig in a poke. The punisher is a very good ski having used it for a couple of days all mountain-it seemed quite versatile. I would look at 2011-12 reviews of the Punisher on Utube etc to make sure they are the same skis as advertised.
