Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski racer's mother says " kids do better ski racing if they get out of the snow"

Here's an interesting viewpoint. It's from the mother of a talented US ski racer Ana Prim. Her mother Vickie Prim has decided that the sport is too "one-dimensional" and has moved her family south from Lake Tahoe to San Diego.

Ana plays tennis, and now runs cross-country, reckoning that these sports will boost her competitive ski performance: "Playing tennis and running give me balance," she said. "I get endurance from running and strength from playing tennis."

This article - from SignOnSanDiego.com - rates Ana Prim as one of America's "promising young skiers".

Any comments on the multi-tasked approach? Can too much ski time mean, as Vicki Prim claims "... strong in November and fizzle out come April." ?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
Well it works for me:
I spend the whole of the off-season stuck at work, mowing the lawn etc. During the season I spend most of my time building myself up so that in the time I do have on the slopes I can ski like a total god: hucking the cliffs, carving as if on rails, down the fall line in moguls.....you get the picture.

Sorry....I was dreaming again.....back to work I suppose.....time for a reality pill?
