League scores still not corrected !
I need to stop my slide down the table - 6th to 55th in a fortnight - so I need to understand this weeks races
Is the super combined the total times of a Slalom and Downhill ?
And the Downhill and Slalom on 18th and 19th are completely separate races ?

codyaitch, I now have some data and can change my picks which is something of an improvement. However the front end is visually a total mess.
The super combination is a combination of the results from the Super G and the one run slalom that usually follows it. However, they have decided to go with the slalom leg first for Wengen which may affect the results. If any of the speed boys ski out of he slalom, they won't get a run in the Super-G.
Benni Raich is out of the Super Combination as he has back problems - he is just competing in the normal Slalom event.
WayneC, I was one of the first people to adopt this game and have had the same problems over and over again for the past 3 years. Every time they try and change something, the patch falls off somewhere else. It is frustrating to be given a different answer for the same problems I have described each season in detail giving information about operating systems browser builds etc! I'm used to doing that as I am paid to find bugs in software to pass on to competent programmers to debug. However, it is the same problems reoccurring every year but different answers are given as to the causes. I have the emails going back to the first season when there were no end of problems. I know it is just for fun here, but over in the States they actually have tangible rewards and prizes, so I believe the Top Ten picks game has been sidelined as it is a lost leader.
On the upside I got some smashing shots of the second run at Flachau on Tuesday, I'm even surprised myself at how good some of them are considering the conditions and he fact that I was only using a 135mm telephoto! Deffo going to upgrade to a 300mm as soon as possible

Slowly getting better with 2 top 100 finishes this week and the other 2 in the top 200! Still need to sort my team if I'm going to win a race like last year though! And in a way glad I can't get my nationality sorted as looking good to win the national champs for Argentina but really only 14th in the UK!

Weird - in the same w/e I equalled my worst score at 15 for the SC and then got my best score of 52.25 for the slalom.
Hope I can't get in to update again it next week...

Beat Fuez took a tumble in training today and looks to have an injury to his ankle (sprained lateral ligament amongst other things). A decision about him taking part in the Downhill will be made tomorrow morning. I think he will be OK for the Super-G/super Combination on Sunday though.
Larisa Yurikow is not taking part in any more events at Cortina this weekend - she's decided to recharge the batteries before Sochi begins! I expect the relief at being selected for Team Canada after having to fight for herself all winter has had a knock on effect. I've had her as my outsider (outside the top 30 a couple of times now) and scored points as a result. She's now inside the top 30 but I think I ay have her as one of my lower possibilities over the weekend, so I'm going to have to swap her out! Fischbacher seems to be a reasonable bet again so I might swap her in.

Wow the SC must have been a low scoring race, 97th place with 27.5! Second best result so far in the Womens SG with 42nd though the mens SG yesterday my joint worst score of the season still put in the top 200!

The best overall score on the men's Super G was just 33.50 points and only 76 scores were above 20 points

Hannes Reichelt's win on Saturday became even more spectacular today when his agent released the news that he has undergone surgery for a badly slipped disc! 
He was complaining of severe back pain at the end of last week and was doubtful for the race but did race and won! Today he had an MRI scan which showed he had ruptured an disc and he has already had it treated surgically. He is now out for the rest of the season and will not be going to Sochi either. So make sure you remove him from your picks now!

Mario Matt and Ted Ligerty let me down last night, but with a respectable 38.25 from 5/10 with 2 exact and 1 bonus, I still slipped down a place to 5th in GB and 86th overall. Well done Amex Skidoos with 40.75.

Ok night last night 34.75 with 5/10 1 exact and a bonus but dropped down to 256 overall and need to be scoring better than that to improve my score. Still a reasonably comfortable lead of nearly 4 points in the Argentinian championship.

there must have been some pretty decent scores somewhere. my 1st in Germany is genuinely under threat now, but the other day there was a huge gap.
