Still unable to get into the FSR site and no reply yet from Steve or Mike Nyman to my email asking when it will be up and running.
Thanks to all those who have got in touch so far - we currently have 7 team members with at least one of last year's mob to join in. If I remember correctly we can have up to 10 members but I'm not sure about that yet, so it will have to wait until the site is accessible again to check.
The snowHead Hopefuls team members to date are:
Samerberg Sue (Team Captain), WayneC, Codyaitch, Goingbackwards (aka davekt), briand6868, Fattes13, Rictor Rocket (aka andy), plus probably kooky (she plays over on TGR these days so I need to email her).
The order is simply the order in which the info came into my PM account by the way

think something strange is going on with your internet connection Samerberg Sue, the FSR site seems fine for me and have been on it a few times over the last week. It is still all last seasons stuff on there at the moment though.

davkt, I've tried on a variety of machines and browsers, so it is not just my internet connection. I was monitoring the site up to about 10 days ago when I sent my mail to Michael Nyman (he more or less runs the site). Since then, I've not been able to get in as the site is constantly reloading as soon as you try to enter via the Dashboard (i.e. where you put your ID and password in to enter the site proper). This has happened in the past when they were tweeking the site. I'll mail them again to report the problem and also ask if the site is going to run again.

codyaitch, just got in on my office machine and seen, as you say that the site has not been updated yet. I'm going to try and start a new team if I can, to see if that works - I'll call it snowHead Hopefuls 2013/2014 or something similar to separate it from the old team.
I'll update you all when I hear something - if you receive and invite please accept, that way at least we'll be ready for the off if and when it comes! 
I've not seen Dr Che on the Boards much recently but I will PM him to see if he is interested. We do have space for 10 members, so we have a couple to play with yet. I'm only going to accept those with a proven track record this year rather than all and sundry getting caught up in the excitement of the new season and then failing to follow through.

kooky, glad I'm not the only one! I can log in here at work but not on my iPad and not at home (I've tried all the main browsers as well!)

Strange. I logged in OK from Chromium on Linux, and not even the latest version (so all Chrome and Safari ought to be fine too, since they have the same basic code).

They are working on it and should have it organised by the 18th. I had mails back from Michael and Steve Nyman.
They are improving the layout, as well as making the differences between the 2 types of game clearer. We may lose all the stuff we currently have on the system in the process, but I have all your details so as soon as the site is up and running properly we will be ready to rock and roll.
andy, I will enter you in the team under Rictor Rocket if that is OK.
briand6868, I will enter you as briand6868 or will you use the Master Blaster this time around? I want to make sure that we get all the points you manage to accrue this season!
Does anyone know if Dr Che is still active on here? I've not seen anything from him for a while. If he is still around, he would be a useful member as he got some brilliant scores last year, I doubt very much if it was all down to pot luck!

andy, yep Sochi will be included.
As for who is racing - you can keep up to date on Farcebook (if you have an account) by joining the Ski World Cup Discussion Group - we have people from all over Europe and North America reporting in on the aches pains and withdrawals amongst other things! Certainly not looking too good for some of the usual suspects right now! The injury list is growing on a daily basis

andy, posts are open but to join or post a new thread it has to be approved by an Admin - we have 6 although I is the Big Boss! We set it up this way to keep the spammers down to a minimum. So far we have caught them all on the request to join stage. Only members can post on the threads.
