6 with 2 exact for 21st place for women's DH and only 5 for men's. I've got quite a lot of skiing to watch to catch up after a 8 days in Les Arcs..

6 and 4 out of 10 on Saturday and 5 and 7 plus 3 exact today giving me a best score for the weekend of 47.50 which increased my overall score to 48.70 - 165th overall and 8th GB - my average up to 30.175
Also increased Hopefuls score by a few decimal points but we have dropped to 19th overall

Not a spectacular weekend for me in the selections but a great weekend at the actual races in Garmisch with fantastic weather. I'm burnt to a frazzle but managed to get some good shots of the girls but sadly not from the angles that Primoz gets - always at least 2 if not 3 fences in the way for me.
Lots of autographs and close-ups of the racers as they left the scrutineers area and made they way to their transport. Only Ofterschwang for the Ladies GS and Slalom and the Men are off to Kranjska Gora for the same events. Then the top 25 in each discipline will be invited to take part in the Finals. The Europa and Nor-Am winners as well as the Juniors are also invited if I remember correctly. So just 2 weeks and it is all over for another season - last races on the 17th March

The French are introducing 2 of their EC women to WC competition today. Best of luck to Clara Direz & Estelle Alphand. Maybe one of them will get a second run?
No Brits entered although i heard that Alex Tilley was suppose to be entering a WC event this season.

Wey hey, first overall for me in the Lenzerheide Ladies GS,8 out of 10 and 3 exact for 55.5 equal my best score, has bumped me up the table in a big way, first in Argentina (should be 5th in the UK of course!), and 102 overall.

davkt - Well done
I had my best ranking of the season over the weekend - 3rd overall in the women's slalom along with briand6868 but at just 44.00 points it didn't increase our overall scores
Hopefuls end of season summary (if I have picked the scores up correctly !)
Briand6868 - 54.75 points - 2nd in Austria - 20th overall
Samersberg Sue - 50.75 points - 3rd in Germany - 94th overall
Davkt - 50.40 points - 1st in Argentina (5th in GB) - 102nd overall
Fattes13 - 49.30 points
Codyaitch - 48.70 points - 8th in GB - 167th overall
Andy - 46.50 points - 7th in Germany - 270th overall
Kooky - 46.35 points - 10th in Austria - 283rd overall
Spud - 41.45 points - 28th in GB - 504th overall
davkt's score increased Hopefuls score to 46.022 - 18th overall
Thanks Samerberg Sue for setting up the league in the first instance - I have always watched and followed the ski season but the Fantasy League has given it added interest and I am pleased that I made picks in all 75 races, only using the 'repeat' button for the two weeks I was away skiing.

Yep thanks Samerberg Sue, hopefully more of the same (with a few less missing players) next season! codyaitch, thanks for keeping tabs of the score. Bet the guy in second in Argentina is a bit miffed, he has been first and me second since the first race, and I only managed to overtake him in the last!

Was fun playing along, despite all the bugs, and the kind of stupid scoring. Would much prefer it if all scores actually counted, rather than just the best 5. Basically made most of the scores towards the end of the season do nothing, other than just let other people past.
Can't complain at 270th out of 1730 players (that scored more than 0), and an average of 6 from 10 for every race isn't that bad I guess. Next year, if the scoring is similar, then I'll just do something radical and aim for bonus points or something. Needed 8 from 10 plus bonus points just to not move backwards at the end, so no harm in playing it risky.

I scored a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th at various points of the season but managed to slip down the rankings in the final 6 or so weeks of the season to finish 4th in the UK and 92nd overall. I'll definitely be interested in joining the Snowheads team next season -- I wasn't sure I'd play often enough to justify it this year but got hooked rather more quickly than I though!

briand6868, Watch this space as soon as I hear from the boys I'll let everyone know. This year entry will be based on activity last year. First invites will go out to the names listed above which I think will fill a team. Let's see if we can do a wee bit better this coming season.

hopefully the rules might kinda make more sense this yr
will have a bash, but mightn't be the most active at keeping on top of everything (much prefer a single pick team with no changes)
