WayneC, the Schladming races are all listed but sadly the teams are not selected yet, so picking the top tens is going to be difficult to be honest. Only 4 per team plus one if your country has the defending champion STILL racing!

hmmm - dropping down the tables here, and will continue to do so unless I get some decent scores.
5/10, 6/10 with 2 exact, and 5/10 with 1 exact, in today's races.
I need at least 7/10+2 exact or 8/10 to even think about moving back up the table.

A good score of 54.50 from Fattes13 has pushed the Hopefuls up one place to 6th this weekend

OK some of the teams for Schladming have been announced:
Sweden
France
Italian
are all decided - including reserves.
Austrian and Swiss still to come as well as some of the other teams with fewer racers. Remember only 4 racers per nation per event (plus the current champion if they are still racing) which means with some good selections you may get some racers from poutside the "top 30" in the Final top 10.

davkt, Abfahrt = Downhill, Super-G is the same, Riesentorlauf = GS and Slalom is the same. Then just match the names to the races. They often stick Damen or Herren in front of the type of race name, so Ladies Downhill is called Damenabfahrt for example.
Really snowing hard here and has been since Friday and it is not showing much sign of stopping!

Weird - moved up a place to 5th GBR and 149 overall with one of my worst results of only 3/10 but one exact for 18.5. Perhaps others are dropping down by not picking for the WSC. Oh just noticed I'd moved up one place GBR and down 14 overall. I think I don't really understand it, lets just go with it... it's the DH next I'm going with Svindall but so many to pick from...

A set of mediocre Schladming World Cup results for all of the Snowhead Hopefuls so far.
I managed 7/10 with one match in the Men's Combined to give me 40.50 points which I think is the best Hopefuls World Cup score so far but has had no impact on total scores or overall league position of 6th.

codyaitch, I don't think they are mediocre for all the hopefuls by a long shot! briand6868 is now up to 9th overall and I'm leading Germany and gradually climbing the overall list. The team has improved its overall position as well during the championships and is now lying in 6th place overall.
My last 3 results put me in the top 100 for each race (36th, 29th and 93rd going backwards from today!) I think the actual scores you need are lower because some people are still picking racers who are not performing for whatever reason. If ou know who is in each team before you make your selections, then you have a better chance of getting 50% or more correct. I'm checking the team lists each day and generally not gambling on getting one of the racers out of the top 30.
The Austrians have just announced their selections for the GS and Special slalom so time to either make your picks or check that you have selected racers that are actually taking part!

Think my best is about 97th for one race. Rest were dire, but then a dire score simply doesn't really count.
Not having access to team lists / start lists before the birthday bash didn't really help (actually still not seen any other than Super G, which isn't exactly helpful either), so had to basically "guess" a likely top 10, making sure not to pick too many from one nation.
Think I've only dropped about 20 places overall from my best position, and most of that was before Schladming.

Svindall won the DH for me but him and Theaux let me down in the Combined but as you say I had a couple that didn't start, like Reichelt even though he came 4th in the SG...
from http://www.schladming2013.at/en/news/stories/detail/datum/2013/02/13/oesv-quartett-greift-nach-medaillen/
Marcel Hirscher, Benjamin Raich, Philip Schörghofer and Marcel Mathis will compete in the giant slalom on Friday; Hirscher, Mario Matt, Manfred Pranger and Raich were nominated for the closing competition of the event, Sunday’s slalom.
I tend to watch what has recorded on my TiVo in the late evening, and don't usually get chance to change the selection on the day...

kooky, you both may need to clear the cookies and cache out of your internet history. That was a problem that caught a lot of people out earlier in the season. If that does not work, go to Systemsteurung/control Panel and look under Internet Optionen/Options then Clear History - but make sure you uncheck the Password option first! I forgot and had to ask for password reminders or new passwords for loads of sites!
It is a bit of a pain but I now do it myself occasionally just to make sure there are no problems.

Sorry - was just referring to World Championships in Schladming where a top score of just 40.50 in the first 6 events is 'mediocre' compared to the much higher scores that have counted in the overall position throughout the season.
4 of us need more than 40.50 to increase overall scores and Briand6868 needs more than 47.50 to increase his.
Forecasting positions in Schladming has proven to be difficult for everyone and Hopefuls have generally performed well compared to others (I was 15th overall for the Combined) without increasing overall scores.

Need more than 44 to affect my score in a positive way. Every time I score less than 8/10 or 7/10 plus a handful of bonus is just going to lead to gradual creep down the overall table. Slightly daft way of making the league work tbh - relies on a pretty hefty dose of good luck more than skill of picking a team of 10 imho. I've pretty much given up all hope of getting such a score.
Picked 6/10 today, which is pretty reasonable, but totally worthless, so dropped another place on the overall. Still 5th in Germany, but 2 hot on the heels, and pretty much relying on them not getting a lucky score that lets them overtake me.

Ahhh - I got the 1st place today.... 8/10 with two exact... Now 4th GB and 64th o/a. Should have had a bet. Wish I'd made it in to the hopefuls.

WayneC, so do I as at least half the team are flagging and some never even showed up in the beginning. The team from next year will be based on this years performances! There are only about 4 of us playing with any real regularity now and I think due to circumstances one of them used picks for the whole season.

Just 6/10 and two exact giving me 37 points - no overall change in scores - 9th in GB and 180th overall
As matter of interest what are your average scores - mine is 29.077 from 55 picks

codyaitch, interesting, my avg is 27.491 for 53 races. Missed a couple early on when picks didn't carry over.
Best is 52 and worst is 12 overall score is 48.6

well the moment I say that, I only go and score a new best score of 52 (8 of 10, with 2 exact, and just jumped from 220th to 177th overall)
