Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Trespass Customer services email?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Morning all,

I need to get in touch with trespass customer services and would like to email some photos of a ski jacket that has only lasted one wash (gutted).
I have tried the web 'contact us' form but it seems to be broken!

If anyone has had dealings with them in the past and could provide me with an email address I would be eternally grateful.

Cheers
Dave

uglybat, if you're a facebook user, try posting your pictures and comments on their page there and mention their contact email is broken as well - that tends to see a very rapid response...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Do people wash ski jackets ? Ive never done so, use for a number of years, then buy a new one. Just seems odd to take something that is water repellent and then put it into a chemical mix that tries to achieve the opposite.

BergenBergen, If find that my ski jackets need a wash after a few months use, not years Skullie .

I've just washed my N.Face jacket, and followed the wash/dry instructions in it and used a cleaning agent designed for outdoor clothing.

Chucking a jacket in on a hot wash with a cup full of ariel is likely to destroy it.

BergenBergen, yes, dirty jackets don't breath as well........

uglybat, how did you wash the jacket? If it was a DWR coating on the jacket then washing it in any kind of normal detergent and/or with fabric softener, you will have destroyed the coating. There's various ways to restore this.

When you say it's only lasted one wash, can you be more specific.

Hi All

Sorry for the late reply, I have managed to get it sorted.

I sent the jacket back to them and the QC department had for for a few days.

They are sending me a replacement.

To say I'm impressed with the excellent customer service is an understatement, I wish all customer service was as good.

Cheers
Dave

Miele and nikwax both do a detergent for goretex type fabrics you can use in your washing machine that won't ruin the membrane.
