Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snowtrax - alpine stars

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have just booked our girls into an Alpine Stars session for this weekend over at the Snowtrax centre near Hurn. This is the first time we have done this with them and I was wondering if anybody had done this and how their kids got on?

Thanks

Well we have just got backed we booked them into the group 1. There was only 1 other child with them. My eldest got on really well, the instructor could tell she had been before (it was almost 2 yrs ago so we thought she wouldn't remember any of it) our youngest was enjoying it for the first 30mins but then became too tired so hubby cut his session short by 10mins and took her in. Sadly both girls say they dont want to do it again but they are tired at the moment so hopefully they may change their minds.

One thing to note is that apparently the smallest boots they have are size 7 which thankfully they were OK. Our youngest is only just 3 if she wasn't going with her big sister we would probably have just booked her into the 18months -3yr group which is 25mins and as it turns out she couldn't cope with the longer session especially starting at 4pm.
