Too young to die but he must have led a very full life. I guess you could say he's finally gone for a burton.

The true snowboard pioneer and James Bond. Clearly not as much of a businessman as Jake but snowsports owe a lot to him.

A real pioneer and visionary, I remember his wheels when I was a kid skateboarding. What a life, Santa Barbara, Tahoe etc etc.............true genuine good guy who lived his life, the "man" when it comes to snowboarding R&D, great stuff, shame he's gone so young.

A real shame. Sims did alot to shape the direction of modern competitive snowboarding - without him we'd probably have gone along the path of slalom and something equivilant to aerial skiing. *shudder*

They're dropping like flies:
RIP Nelson Pratt - former Team GB snowboarder and current Team BG coach - found by his father hanging from a gymnastic ring in his garage at the age of 33. Poor bar steward.

RattytheSnowRat, Happened a while ago, yesterday was just the inquest. Very sad, relative wealth and "interesting career" no antidote for depression it seems.
