Morning,
Im planning on going to Bozel in Feb. Im intending to fly to Chambery and then get the train to Moutiers and then hopefully get the bus to Bozel.
Does anyone know where I can find the bus timetable from Moutiers to Bozel, ive tried looking on Altibus with no luck.

snow_badger, Do you know there is a bus from Chambery airport to Moutiers and then a connection from Moutiers to Bozel (on the bus to Pralognan). It is run by Altibus but is not showing up on their system yet. It was 50 euros return last season.
The taxi from Chambery airport to Chambery staion costs 20 euros each way if you want to take the train to Moutiers, there wasn't a bus from the airport to the station.
The Altibus service from Chambery airport only ran at the weekend last season, although most of the flights seemed to be on a Saturday or Sunday.
I think last years timetable did not appear on the Altibus website for the winter service until November / December time.

thank you for the replies. I was planning on using whatever method was cheapest as well as convenient for taking my luggage and board bag. running weekends is fine, as long as the service isnt restricted on a sunday ( flying out and returning on a sunday)

I think there were 4 busses on a Sunday from Chambery airport to Moutiers last year and they were timed to coincide with the flights.
If it is just for one person it is probably your cheapest option.

snow_badger, There is a Facebook page called 'To Bozel and Back' where there are always loads of people offering or asking for lifts. Worth a try maybe. Or they might have more bus info for you.

thanks, im not sure with three people boards and luggage that there will be many that could offer us a lift, but I shall ask nearer the time
