I'm trying to organise (perhaps a little too late) a trip for 5/6 to Flachau in mid January.
Had a quick search on SHs which lead mostly to hotel recommendations and the various Flachau websites are incredibly tedious to navigate for even a seasoned internet user such as myself.
So I wondered if anyone had any recommendations on apartments/chalets for 5/6 people (no couples).

buckers, there is a Snowhead with an apartment in Flachau (username Holidayloverxx) but I think her very nice apartment would be too small for you - she may be able to suggest some options though

buckers, I agree the Flachau website is nto very good to navigate. What's the budget, what do you want to be near - the Achterjet or the village centre?

lizski, looks great, but you have to book the whole chalet and it takes up to 12 people - €3640 for a week in January plus €225 for cleaning. If you can get 12 together then it would be fab, if a little out of things for nightlife. It is very near the very good MPreis supermarket for the self caterers

buckers, I can second holidayloverxx's comments re Radstadt and flangesax's place. I'm out here now - was so impressed in March, I came back when there was no snow.
