Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My daughter has lost a part off of one of her bindings - I don't know the technical name for it but it is the small piece of plastic that the heel of the boot pushes down onto. She was gutted when we got them out of the bag the other day and they were unusable!
Her skis are
K2
Missys and the bindings say Marker 7.0 on them - they are not under warranty as we bought them second hand. Any advice on where I might be able to get a replacement part will be hugely appreciated!!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Do you mean the plastic cover on the brake or is it on the actual heel unit ? You can get a new brake but if part of the heel has broken you will not be able to replace it

is correct is asking if it's the brake or the heel that's broken? However if it is the actual heel boss & not the brake that's busted you can still order a replacement, it'll just be circa £50 as opposed to £10.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

, many thanks! I've worked out that it is the brake - will try to get one sorted tomorrow.
