The 'red eggs' from Les Gets have been replaced and the old ones seem to have ended up in a Bric-et-Broc shop on the road between Taninges and Samoens. Web site is www.bricetbroc.net. The gondolas from the Morillon telecabine have also been replaced and are all sitting in a field on the outskirts of Morillon. I guess the lift company would be the ones to ask - www.grand-massif.com. Don't know about chairs, but they must be available as I see them being used as hanging seats in gardens around Morillon and elsewhere. Would be interesting to know how much theses things cost so let us know how you get on.

An old chairlift as a garden seat/swing.. What a cracking idea.. Chances of getting one into the UK for anything less than a metrick fscktonne of cash is unlikely tho

One of the Les Gets 'red eggs' was spotted in a supermarket somewhere near Amsterdam - friend of our daughter who has stayed at our chalet saw it and sent her a photo of it.

Boredsurfing, registering an interest, I'd be interested in a chair and/or a gondola for the garden.

I wonder if a gondola would make an interesting alternative to my slowly rotting garden shed

Saulire and Platieres bubbles in Meribel and Motteret are being replaced this year, so there should be some 'freshly picked' bubbles becoming available from the 2 lift companies.

If I had a gondola in my garden I'd be lynched by the neighbours, might make a good smoking room for the lads in the yard though.

I haven't got the foggiest about where these things come out cost wise, but if the cost was approachable we would be on the interest list for a chair and/or a small gondola, but it would depend on the financial situation at the time in terms of making a final decision.

Ha, what a great idea, I'd be keen to hear what price for a chair for the garden, no fussed at all about an egg shaped gondola but if ever I could get one of the old yellow square gondola bubbles from St Anton I'd be so pleased! Or one of the red Hannenkahmbahn ones!
