Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Pub serving free food cervinia

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey heading out to Cervinia in April.

Whilst skiing in Courmayer we found a pub in the town which put on a free buffet on at the end of the day if you bought drinks.

Was wondering if there was a similiar pub in Cervinia?

Also any good mountian restaurants like the Hard Rock Cafe in Courmayer which did a really nice salad bar at lunch time?

Cheers

rooski10, yes there are two I can think of. The first is Lino's by the ice rink and the second is Ymeletrob cocktail bar next to the Punta Maquignaz hotel.

Good mountain restaurants are Chalet Étoile just above Plan Maison and the one on blue piste 5 (might be called Clochards?).

Yep, as well as Lino's and The Ymeltrob they serve some food after Happy Hour (4-5pm) in the Copa Pan. There's also nice nibbles on the bar in the Edelweiss from about 6.30. Peanuts in shells (woopee doo) in The Yeti (ask if there's none on the bar). Des Guides is ok but they can be a bit 'funny'. Don't get too excited but the Dragon will also give you some crisps if you like! The Chalet Etoile is deffo the best quality on the mountain.

If you're heading into Switzerland they do a fantastic Rosti at the Furi restaurant right on the slope near near the Furi station.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

You could try and snaffle some of the canapes bought out for Dragon residents (just before 7pm I think), but I wouldn't hold out much hope.
