Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Last minute opportunity has arisen for a weekend trip 24 - 26 March Very Happy !

Have skied both PdS and Cham valley before, although more experience in PdS.

Purely from a current conditions , experience of late March point of view (I appreciate it can change between now and then) given the choice of the two where would you head for on the above dates?

Thanks in advance snowHead snowHead

To be fair, no idea, but I do know that there is a music festival in Morzine from the 24th March so it should be pretty lively.

Enjoy.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Difficult one. Been very warm recently and no snow in the current forecast - Les Houches (low) and Brevent/Flegere (in the sun all day) might be pretty nasty by then, but the GM and Le Tour should be holding up nicely...

PdS generally lower (I think..) than Cham so might be a bit a bit of a gamble however PdS is a much bigger linked area so probably easier to find quiet & good slopes...

Can you leave it 'til last minute? If there's a good dump between now and then, go to Cham, if not, then PdS

Ski Tyke, if the weather goes on as it is now, neither is ideal.
