Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Easter weekend ski deals possible?

Is it possible to get Easter weekend ski deals at last minute that might still be cost effective (Thursday night to Monday night) ?
I'm presuming the only places with space might be hotels...

Thinking of this myself. DIY is usually the way to do with being prepared to rent a car and stay down valley if necessary. I'd be interested if any viable "package" options turn up.

we are flying in to geneva first thing friday am, returning monday evening with easyjet, hire car and room only hotel room in morzine, all in cost except lift passes DIY £350 per person. ski friday afternoon all day sat, sun and monday.

Not too bad.

Chamonix also a good option with the best westerns being particularly easy to book and have a normal hotel cancellation policy of before 2 pm on day of arrival.

We booked the Chamonix hotel so we at least had somewhere definite then took our time to have a look around for something else, somewhere we hadn't been before.
