Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bardonecchia

Poster: A snowHead
Hi,
I'm off to Bardonecchia this weekend. Crystal have just told us they are not running their learn to ski package for my girlfriend.
Does anyone have any advice as to which Ski School we should try to book over there? We are staying near Campo Smith. I have looked at a few websites but they are all in Italien and I'm struggling to make sense out of them.
(Any other general hints from Snowheads who have been to Bardy would be greatly appreciated as well)

Thanks

EdYarker, welcome to Snowheads. snowHead I can't help specifically - never been to Bardonecchia.

I'd suggest getting some telephone numbers from this general page, which is in English, and then telephoning some likely looking numbers. If you speak slowly they will probably have someone who can help you - and the Tourist Office central should certainly have good English speakers. I wouldn't bother emailing, so close.

What a pain that Crystral don't have their package!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

We have booked the same package but for next year...
Surely Crystal should be organising appropriate alternatives for you?
Good website that Pam has recommended though
Good luck

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks for the feedback.
I dare say the rep will help us when we get there but always worth having a bit of knowledge in advance.

indeed, and may be worth booking a ski class in advance, too. It would be a big problem to arrive and find they were all full, or to waste a day faffing around.
