Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

vivski, the only way I can see to find out if the Ball is operating is to do a mock booking for it, then you can see the dates it is on. I looked and it seems that it is going to be on a fair few times in the near future on Sundays, Tuesdays or both.

Snowy23, I would think a lot judging from the comments on their FB page.

They have now at least put all the dates on which the abominable snowball will be operating on the events section of their website, though they are not immediately obvious and you have to keep scrolling down to see them.

The monstrous ball will be occupying the slope on:

i see people have also complained as they showed up to ski/board and the avalanche was set out for staff training. These dates, if I understand correctly from the FB complaints were not shown on the Chill website

snow_badger, if you got to the news page it said somewhere that half the slope was closed on 5th/6th March but it wasn't very obvious!
