Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Westerndorf this march

Thinking of going to westendorf in second week in march. Know they've had great snow all season, but worried snow may get too slushy as it warms up over next 3 weeks. Will it still be ok in march?

Who knows? I'd just book it and go with it. Near 3 meters of snow is not going to disappear in three weeks and if it does warm up likely that most other places will have slush as well. We skied Schladming last year after the slopes had had 48 hours of rain on less depth of snow in January and they were in remarkably fine condition in positive temps.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I've skied the Skiwelt (stayed in Soll but skied over to Westerndorf) a few times during March and it is usually OK, although it can be a bit soft in the afternoons. When it was like that we used to stay out for longer in the AM session and then have a late lunch at about 2 ish

Will be great.

Plus slush is fun.
