Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

April trip anyone fancy coming?

Hi,

I am thinking about squeezing in a ski week mid to late April, needs to be somewhere at higher altitude.

Does anyone fancy joining me? I am a female intermediate skier and fancy a chalet holiday, preferably a female to share room as single suppliments in chalets are a joke.

heathermo, if you can wait a bit before booking, the EoSB will be announced sometime between now and April wink
This years is the 21st to 28th April. Do a search in the snowEvents forum, lots of previous trips nattered about there, and you'll be guaranteed a female share snowHead

Hi Michelle, I'll bear it in mind, I won't be booking yet but wanted to see if anyone else fancied going. I would have preferred a package as I live in Scotland and it could be difficult for me to get my own way there but will keep an eye on the forum, thanks.

heathermo, there's plenty of others that come from the various Scottish airports too - and then there's a coach transfer arranged too from Geneva, so not too much to worry about Razz

Hi heathermo,

If you haven't yet found anything then please take a look at our chalets - link in my tag line.

We have some spaces available in our chalets for April with no single supplement. The chalets are in La Plagne and are fully catered with prices from £400.

Best wishes,

Hello and good evening.

Now this is an extra sort of suggestion as it is silly compared to alpes skiing. However since I'm not going to the Alpes this year I've been going to Milton Feynes SnoZone! Its quite fun and an alternative way to spend a saturday evening from 7pm tp 11pm. In short, I'd like a ski buddy for company, someone who's happy to go up and down the 170m long slope for four hours, get in some practice, and stop now and again for a chat during the evening.

I'm a young fun 41 year old fit male who loves skiing and would like to leap from carving to spontaneous slick speedy turns and perhaps a few jumps!

Even if just the once, its quite fun at SnoZone.

Lots of other details about me available if thats important for you.

Carver2012, It's worth keeping an eye on the Snow Events threads as they often have details of snowHead 'meet ups' at the UK fridges. I've been to these at Tamworth (my local one, as I live in Coventry), Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead and The Chill Factor-e in Manchester (Trafford Park). From what you've posted, these would maybe tick the boxes for you. They are also fairly well attended and organised with links to 'Doodle' availability charts so you can view who's up for it on given dates. Maybe see you at one soon!
