Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Update for Gulmarg (Kashmir Himalayas)

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Dear All

Trust any info I can provide on Gulmarg is welcome.

I'll be up there in October for a pre-winter visit. If you'd like an on-the-spot assessment of where the resort is at prior to this winter, you're welcome to subscribe to our site: www.skihimalaya.com

Of course, I'll probably pepper you with info on our own operation as well, but "dats de cost" of our information. wink

FYI - we still have rooms available for 2006, and are taking advance expressions of interest for 2007. Our services include accommodation "at cost" - you can't do it for less direct.

Kind regards to all from Down Under
Peter Robinson

allow me to accept your congratulations for the cricket on behalf us all! hopefully it'll be the last you see of them for a while!

I hear Flintoff was given the freedom of the city... well, Preston. Free drinking in 64 pubs, free rides with the police and free sheepherding included? I bet you ozzies are jealous now!

I spoke with the assistant director of Tourism for Kashmir t'other day. He also congratulated us on the Ashes. He also said that some blasting to the upper slopes of Gulmarg's APherwat mountain was going ahead, allbeit slowly, and this would provide a track from near the summit down to the mid-station, allowing it to be groomed too i assume. Plans to put a ski patrol in place are still being considered. There is currently a proposal to bring 5 members of Team Whistler out for the season to run things and train up the locals. So it is looking pretty promising. Shock
