Possibly - I am looking to go that date and on my own at the moment. I went to Les Arcs last year and did a day in La Plagne which had nice runs, very wide and loads of cannons - great for an early intermediate boarder.
If I could choose any resort I'd go with Val Thorens, considering the time of year; it is high and gets good snow inth late season. Plus you get 600km of 3 Valleys piste. And it's ski-in / out; and great nightlife apparently.
Finally, it's cheap, this deal is just £289pp based on 4 sharing; includes flights transfers and accom (SC) - check it out...

Yes it says 6 but on the page previous it says 4 so I'd have to contact them. Anyway, it's definitely not a deal-breaker.

This trip is flying out of Dublin 17th March@1 15 arriving Chamberry with transfer to LaPlagne staying in Terra Nova Hotel half board ski in an out for 7nights departing Chamberry 11:10 on the 24th March back in Dublin12:30.Have people from all over Ireland going to ski an have a bit of craic!!!!

Normary -
I looked at Geneva rather than Chamberry - looks like there's a lot more flexibility and it's much cheaper.
Swiss airways flies for £128 + Ski carriage. Transfer 165km.
Can't find a decent transfer yet - getting back ridiculous quotes of 450 Euros.
If can find a better deal and if pwelh / others are doing the same route could be do-able.
How much will it cost me for the accomodation? And what board basis is it? And how big is the group / the place you're staying and many places do you still need to fill?
Btw there are not 2 of us; just me.

Pwelh - Gatwick to Val Thorens is on the cards if we can't get on board with Normary's thing in La Plagne for whatever reason.
For Val Thorens we'd need at least an extra 2 heads, maybe an extra 4 to get the cheapest (£290) deal.
With 4 of us I could speak to the operator and see what they can arrange. We could take a 6-berth and split it between 4 since it is so cheap; might only add an extra £50-70 per head...
