Every year we haev one simple rule - if it's on the spare bed it gets packed, if it's not it doesn't
Every year "I" forget something that i "should know" that obviousl needs to be packed, even though it's not been put on the spare bed , like last year my daughter's salopettes
So, just to save my annual verbal battering the first night in a family chalet, what have "i" forgotten ?

Great thread, as I go next Friday I've just remembered photos for passes! Are you flying, driving? We drive so list also involves oil, snow chains, antifreeze, music....this is a must for ten hours! Normally try hiding chocolate and cig gives and lighters around the car as well - petrol stops are easier when you can lay your hands on everything! Oh yes, if you are driving, spare key cabled tied to underneath of truck....and don't go nicking my truck now!

P.S. For teh last god knows how many years of weekly trips and long weekends i cant remember ever needing a photo for a lift pass - are those 20th century photo things still needed anywhere ?

Nurofen plus..........codeine and ibuprofen combo. Sorts out everything from toothache to hangovers, sprains to slightly cracked ribs. Essential.

When we went to Le Grand Bornand I think it was the first time we didn't take a passport photo just in case we needed one and had to get the photos done in the office. That was 2007
