Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rossignol and Dynastar go west: celebrations and commiserations

Rossignol, one of the world's largest ski equipment companies and under French ownership for many decades, was taken over in July by Quiksilver.

Within weeks, Rossignol has decided to move its US headquarters - also responsible for Dynastar, Lange and other subsidiary brands - from Vermont to Park City, Utah. That's east to west, for US geography students.

Vermont isn't happy about this: Burlington Free Press.

Utah is delighted by it: Salt Lake Tribune.

But one can see their reasoning. Any comments?

Expect Rossi to go fatter, and Backcountry.com will start doing even better deals with them

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

So long as they continue to make the Dyna skis under the shadow of Mont Blanc (as the marketing blurb says they are now...) I'll still feel I'm buying into something reasonably "authentic". Although, the fact that I like skiing on their skis and I have found them to be solidly made is more of an influence on my liking of them

Wear The Fox Hat, fatter? have you seen the B Squad? Shocked

Arno, I hope so to, I'm sure they will.

Interesting. I'm a big Rossi fan but haven't found a pair of Dynastars I've liked since my original gold Course SLs. A chacun son gout.
