He's about to ski on these mothers
The photo's from snow.co.nz
Here's the story and more pics: 'Peace at last between skiers and snowboarders'
A slightly costly way to acquire a pair of 'skis', but anything to promote peaceful co-existence!

Probably not, so take 'em to a German snowdome
Alpincenter Bottrop. These people need to see some full-on skiing, Fox.

You'll have to saw off the brakes, or have them squashed into the up position.

David Goldsmith, I'd probably not bother mounting the brakes
There's an indoor slope in Neus, not far from here, which I might try out in a coupl of weeks.
Masque, are the boards the same size/model?

Good question. It helps to have a matching pair if you want both legs to descend the same piste.

Wear The Fox Hat, same dimensions and stiffness, diff' graphics. As for trying it . . . I ain't that stupid or skilled to even think about really trying it but I'll get the bits glued together by a propper tech if anyone's daft enough to want to try at the EOSB.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Glued? Just drill the boards, and mount normally!

Wear The Fox Hat, Confused, thought you were in Koln. The link that you sent seems to be in the sticks somewhere, reference to Dusseldorf and MunchenGladbach, but not Koln or Bonn.
Did you travel out on GermanWings, the best cheap airline in Europe?

The Ambassador doesn't travel on 'cheap airlines'. He has a Lear Jet.

Wear The Fox Hat, Boards are not constructed with enough depth or structure to just drill and screw, note the 6 bolts on the underside of the board in the pics.
If it were done when 'tis done, then 'twere well It were done right: (with apologies to Bill)

Cymru am Byth, Dusseldorf is only about 20 miles from Koln. Yes, I flew on GW - they do the best times for flights

Wear The Fox Hat, GW in my experience always on time, don't cancel, efficient staff, good planes with plenty of legroom. We've even considered using the Koln hubb to get elsewhere in Europe rather than direct from the UK. Waiting on their booking system to open up for June/July next year and try to take in a World Cup match. Wasn't expecting to watch Wales but I'd better forget England as well.

I'm interested in the mounting pattern. Do those screws pierce the 'whinging on a traverse' section?
