Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Well, I've done it now haven't I - Montalbert advice needed!

So after a lot of personal dilberation and searches on Snowheads, I've booked to go on a solo trip to the alps for a week starting next Sunday (22.01)

The guys I usually ski with are either in Asia or getting a Mortgage(!) so it was either go solo or don't go at all. I'll be staying in a studio in Montalbert below La Plagne, if anyone wants to meet somewhere in Paradiski for a slide or beer!

Also, can anyone reccomend decent lessons/guiding in the area? I'm a 'confident Intermediate', I'll give any run on the map a go but have only tried small amounts of off piste.

Martin., suggest you re-title your thread to make it clear you're looking for good lessons/guiding in the Montalbert area. There are a number of SHs who know that area very well who will be able to give you detailed suggestions.

Have fun. snowHead

If you see a guy on his own in a greenish check jacket making the most of happy hour, say hi.

Do any of the bars have a WiFi? Considering weather to take the netbook or not.

Also noticed this seems to be on during the period I'm out there, looks pretty good!
