Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Les Carroz transfers

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi

Off to Les Carroz at end of month (so excited!), and just wondered if anyone had any personal recommendations for airport transfers from Geneva? Would be looking at something shared to keep down costs - but reliable to make sure we maximise precious skiing time! I was looking at skiddy gonzales, but then I saw that resort hoppa had an option with maximum of 3 passengers - does that sound right?

Thanks for all your help as always

Hi

We used GoMassif the last 2 years and found the service to be great. May be worth checking them out.

Another recommendation for Go-Massif..... Well organised, know the area really well (it is the only area they operate) and good prices.

Thanks, I did see Go Massif, but they do say that you can be waiting up to 90 mins at the airport, so that is why I looked at the other companies - as their wait times seem shorter. Do you think that I would have to wait that long with Go Massif?

most companies operating to the Grand Massif will pick you up from your accommodation about 3 hours before your flight departure time.

They all know it's only an hour (ish) drive to get you there but if there are delays then there's issues for everyone so they errr on the side of caution.

If it's 90minutes potential wait at GVA when you arrive the only way you will get around that is to book a private transfer and then the bus will be there ready to leave as soon as you arrive...... but then you have to pay for all 8 seats.

Pays your money make your choice.

In my experience (and I have a massive amount of experience with Go-Massif) then you are likely to be waiting less than half an hour at the airport before you leave unless things go horribly wrong with teh airport/flights.

It is in their interest and they really want to get you out of the airport as soon as possible as customers sitting there waiting is a right pita for everyone.

A Local taxi pickup from Les Carroz will cost you about €100 each way which is lot but then you get no hassle and no waiting Smile
