Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone used them? Any recommendations? Any info?

It's an option for us for the next trip. Generally use an ESI branch and never had a problem, always been satisfied. ESI is still an option in this resort too. Generally with the ESI we get youngish instructors who make the lessons fun which is good.

Just that the BASS website seems very focussed on adult lessons and a reply to the enquiry I made sounded a bit formal. Am I getting the wrong impression?

sarah, we used BASS in Les Gets at Christmas for our grandchildren (7 and 4) and they had good fun.

sarah, Peter who runs BASS Chatel can be, well, a bit formal in his emails. I spent a week shadowing Peter when I was doing my instructor training and his kids group had a really good time.

As good as Peter is, though, the person to try to get is Helen. She's absolutely passionate about teaching kids. So much so that she's, literally, written the book and BASI manual on how to teach kids. MrsFS did her BASI L2 with Helen last spring and came back full of enthusiasm for teaching kids Shocked Shocked Shocked

Fortunately she lost that enthusiasm as soon as we visited my godson! Toofy Grin
