Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Obergurgl

Hi, Has anyone one got any tips on the best runs and restuarants in Obergurgl?

Just back from there - all runs are pretty nice. David's Hutt does ace Apfel Strudel - you can reach it by red 16 (or 17 if its open) or blue 15.

Top Star in Hochgurgl is great for a coffee and hot chocolate to take in the views

Also, note if it is windy then the chairs in Obergurgl are more likely to close than at Hochgurgl - something to do with a convex via concave shape of the hill apparently (at least that's how my husband tried to explain it!!) The red in Hochgurgl that goes right to the bottom gondola is great, especially if you can catch it early doors, same goes for red from the Hohe Moe Hut

finally the snow should be brilliant there now - last Friday it was total blizzard and all lifts (and road) were closed - but that should have passed by now.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Also garlic soup in David's hut, yum!

Nederhutte. Their ribs are delicious. Also they do Apres-ski on Mon, Wed, Thurs and Fri. Table dancing in ski boots!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Table dancing in the Nederhutte? I remember that well. Or maybe not that well actually. Something to do with the amount of schnapps they kept bringing round!

Seem to recall the beef goolash in Davey's hut was also pretty fantastic.
