Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Couple looking for transport to large resort in Alps 1st or 2nd week April

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi there,

Me and my fiancee are looking to catch a ride with someone down to the Alps either first or second week of April. We live near Huddersfield but are flexible on travelling from wherever you're going from. Preferably a big / high resort, e.g. Tignes, Val Thorens etc. And a journey back after a week...
It'd be a great opportunity to share the cost of fuel/tolls/ferry etc.
We do have our own skis...

Hope you can help!

Thanks!

jakemanc, you could probably get cheap flights for around the same cost as 50% of the fuel, ferry and toll cost of a car journey from Huddersfield to the Alps.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yeah, I know. But my fiancee isn't good with flying after a bad experience a couple of years ago. So we're looking for alternatives. It's not really about the cost. Thanks anyway though.

How about train to London and take a Eurostar to Paris - followed by TGV to Bourg St Maurice and then a 30 min transfer to Tignes/Val Paradiski or get off at Moutiers for the 3V. Throw a night in Paris to the mix to break up the journey
