Hi,
Losing the will to live!
Im trying to find a cheap solo ski departing either of the last two weekends in jan, and having no luck at all!
Where are the best places to look online which allow solo deals? Price is the main issue here, finding great deals for 2 or more people but getting ridiculous prices for just me. I don't really mind where I ski, I wanted to go to Les Arcs but as long as I have access to a fairly large ski area in the alps I can be very flexible.
Snowheads, help me out!
Sorry if there has been recent threads about this.

Ski Hame offered us singles in La Tania for £379 in a nice chalet including transfers from Geneva (That was for the 15th). EJ flights still available.

Hi,
We have some single rooms in our chalets and never make a supplement for these - the link is in my tag line.
Happy planning!

Martin., I'm guessing the one you found is the Hotel Rossl. So the next thing is Google the hotel and find out who the tour op is. In this case it's Thomson/Crystal, so have a look and see if it's cheaper on their website, or maybe even better, have a look at www.ski-direct.com which is a part of TUI which sells their discounted holidays. Then just book the cheapest!
Oh, and have a look on Trip Advisor to see other guests comments. Hope you don't mind a bit of noise!

Mountainsun have been mentioned on several "singles" threads. Much as I like them, I've stayed with them 4 times, I don't think +50% as a single supplement is a particularly good deal.

Colin B, their place in Italy has single rooms with zero supplement.

You know it makes sense.

Wags, OK thanks, it's 50% at Tignes

Colin B, He could opt to share... It was the OPs liking for Les Arcs that made me suggest it.

The later you leave it the better deal you will get. If a hotel or chalet has 10 empty beds for a certain week, and you ring up offering to stay there, they are not going to charge you a supplement as the chance of them filling the other 8 rooms up is rather slim. Could you not join up with another single if you are really struggling?

Looks to be some good deals floating about on Chalets direct and cheap flights to GVA, so I think that is the way I'll go.

YSEski in Val D'isere are happy to put solos in a room if they can handle the possibility of someone possibly sharing it. My mate did it with them and ended up with a twin room on his own - luck of the draw I suppose.
