When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Can anyone who is still in Cervina find out, say by enquiring the ski pass office, if it is possible for a ski pass holder for the Italian side only to ski into Zermatt glacier and take the two drag lifts back without upgrading the ski pass? The upgrade is 30 Euro and is not worthy unless one ski the rest of Zermatt.

Many twin countries resorts do allow the ski pass holder on one side to use the chairlift at the border so that a piste user accidentally stray into another country is not unduly penalized. In Milky Way I know Montgenevre ski pass holders are allowed to use the Italian Claviere chairlifts at the border to bring them back to French side.
