Poster: A snowHead
|
I will go skiing to Alpe d'Huez in Feb with friends.
We don't know the resort and its ski area, have you any useful information or practices websites about, please? (webcam, ski school, good place to eat & drink...)
Thanks a lot and best wishes !

I've just been posting on another forum which I hope the mods don't mind but it totally covers nightlife here
Where are you staying?
For webcams I look at:
http://www.alpedhueznet.com (just tried a direct link and for some reason won't work!)
Outdoor pool is good after a day on the hill, just don't forget your speedo's!!

TomD, welcome to snowHeads
There's quite a bit of info on the forum, so well worth using the search function
Here's a trip report I wrote a few years back.

Good ski schools are Masterclass and Stance Snow, both really English speaking (Masterclass) ARE English. Not particularly cheap but you can have one off lessons and their tuition is EXCELLENT!!
Good places to eat: Pomme de Pin, Pinocchio Pizza's (both on main drag). Passe Montagne, back of tourist office, and Eidelweiss, opposite PM.
