Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for skiing partner(s) in Zermatt 12-17 February 2012

My wife and I are booked into our favourite hotel in Zermatt.

She doesn't ski and other friends had to cancel so I'm looking for congenial skiing companion(s) for some or all of the days 12-17 February.

I'm in my mid-50s with very good skiing technique, perhaps not as fast as I was 10 years ago, but keen to ski a lot. I know the Zermatt ski area pretty well. I'm from UK but have been working in Switzerland for many years. Happy to chat in English or French.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hello Chris,
I just realised that my post may be misleading! I am NOT looking for someone to take up the cancelled holiday of our friends. I am simply looking for people to meet up with in the morning and ski with during the day, who would presumably have their own accommodation, etc. Some further socialising is always possible of course (!) although we have a set dinner in our hotel.

Hi!

I have kind of the same issue. I'm skiing in Zermatt the last 9 years and I'm looking also for a ski companion. I plan to ski exactly the same dates. Please post a reply or a private message to exchange mobile phones if ok with you. I'm 40, but given the amount of work I had lately, I guess that my skiing ability is exactly like yours. I also think that our levels are equivalent.

Best regards
P.
