When is the proper snow going to arrive?
It keep saying that it going to snow and there is little evidence to be found.
Any body have current photos of conditions and any creme de la creme pictures of SNOW.
I am interested in the low and high tatry mounttains in Slovakia where the current temperatures are pleasing just want there to be more snow coverage then loads of depth!!

A friend of mine lives in Gstaad and knows the mountains very well. He said to me last week that it will arrive across the majority of the alps (and in gstaad) around the 11th of December? I'm interested to see what happens…

the forecasters seem to have predicted more snow than has fallen so far so i hope there be some proper snow.

None of the major resorts in Bulgaria, Romania and Slovenia is open yet.
Not enough snow.
They rarely get going until the second half of December.

To be fair, the majority of resorts in France aren't even due to be fully open yet, snow or no snow and some resorts in the main Alpine countries, which were due to be open, aren't.

Only a few resorts have opened in Slovakia so far and they need to rely on snowguns.
This is the first week that both Tatras received any snow this winter.

Still not much snow in eastern EU countries.
And when will it come, next week there is no snow forecast. Jasna is forecasting no major snow for a week.
Does any one know if this is normal and if in January it will just be more active?
