Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

......that I'm looking for. A fairly cheap pair too for snowdome use.

At the moment a pair of "White Rock" have come up in the sales at £37.89 (half price). They have a fleece liner, which appeals, but I have no idea what the kits like as I've not heard of it before. Who is/are White Rock?

Anyone know of any other bargains, or places I could look?

Thanks.

Decathlon have cheap ski stuff, during the season though, I don't think all year round. Don't know if there's one near you.

For goodness sake! It's not gonna be minus 20. It's not going to be snowing a blizzard. Any old kit will do rolling eyes

I got pants, jacket and gloves from Tchibo for just under £80 in December last year, but Tchibo do swap their stock around all year so you need to keep an eye out. Made in Austria so I though if its good enough for the Austrians then its good enough for me. I feared it might be poor quality because of the price but it seems to do the job quite well. Real snowHead s are about to pummel me for not buying "real" gear I'm sure!!

Edmundh009, thanks, I'll have a look st S&R. I hadn't heard of Blackrun, but I've looked now snowHead

maggi,OK I admit it Embarassed . I've been using my (only) ski pants so far, but they're a decent pair and I thought they may get damaged/worn out by regular use which would be a waste. I did think of using traccie bottoms, but it get's chilly after a couple of hours so I'd have to layer them and it starts to get silly. I will also use the new ones on trips away, I promise.
