very windy again today but lovely sunshine and a great day skiing with some lovely, and some nasty piste skiing to be had. The hour between 12.30 was ace and we ripped some empty piste. Had some great laughs in the wind towards Le Fort, great piste but hip deep airborne snow fog.
The warm wind has closed the lower slopes but I am sure that the bashers will work wonders overnight again.
There is some NASTY boilerplate out there but also some nice stuff. A Flat path played havoc with the knee and I knew it was time to finish. Dead chuffed as I skied the last run down Tetras really well

Cold and heavy snow forecast friday. I think it will be needed by then. News in resort that Vallandry is a bit bare tonight. We are lying in bed with the veranda door wide open

No we have been skiing
la thuile has brilliant powder, much colder and great snow and no wind. Lucky if we saw 50 other skiers all morning. Awesome.
This was tempered by the news of 2 burst pipes at home and 4 wrecked rooms, 10 months after our last flood.

despite the wind we have all still been commenting on how great this place is for the kids. The now just ski with adults when they need a rest. Tom is in his 3rd week as a boarder and is ridiculously good. At 14 he is infinitely better than me on either his skis or board
