Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Acommodation in France needed Dec 26/27 to Jan 1/2

 Poster: A snowHead

Hi all,

Plans changing all the time here, me and OH now have a window between the above dates, fnacy 4/5/6 days in Northern French Alps anywhere. Flexible on dates as above.

Can't commit to full week due to family commitments etc.

We are easy going, ski for fun not for miles, (20ys and 4 yrs exp), like to socialise and have a drink ot two.

Have seen flights from Liverpool to Geneva for less than £100 return, and looking for accomodation for the dates mentioned.

Would definately prefer staying in an underoccupied chalet with other likeminded people to be able to ski with other people, but would consider apartment/hotel too.

If anyone has accomodation or if anyone fancies making up a group and knows of accomodation options, let me know.

Fingers crossed snowHead

Neil

Hi Neil

After some thought i am going to withdraw from a short xmas escape and gain some browny points with the missus. Already got a lads trip booked to Avoriaz end of Jan with club med & hoping to fit another one in end of Feb.

Geneve to Alpe duez 21/2 - 3 hrs by car

Try club med website for short breaks as it is all inclusive i imagine it would create a good sociable atmosphere.

Oh i'm 46 live on the wirral with approx.15 yrs skiing.

Good Luck with ur trip & all the Best

Darrin

Hi Neil - if you were to take my boyfriends flat we'll be in the resort.. there are 4 of us going... all early 30s ish. It might be fun to ski together. We're also pretty sociable!

If you need info on transfers it's really simple from Geneva - there's a bus straight up there - the last one leaves at 19.15.

Hi there, going to seriously consider this, trying to look at organising various details now, would be good to have some other people to ski with, what age range are you all, wouldn't want to cramp your style lol.

Will come back in next day or two, cheers wink

neilkav, one thing to consider is that it's peak time in France - the busiest weeks of the year. It might be worth considering some Swiss options from Geneva, though the high price of the franc is not a help.

Dear All,

Sorry to crash this thread but I came across it this morning. Have a great xmas ski!

For another time my wife Wendy and I have a second home 55 mins from Geneva in Les Bauges above Lake Annecy which we rent to like minded people at just £120 per person. We have a luxury chalet for 8 called Le Chatox . All info on our websit www.lechatox.com. You guys are just the sort of guests we would like another time ! The key feature is the peace and quite of our resorts as most Brits don't know www.lesaillons.com . It has more than enough piste for a fab wks hol or short break and is frequented by the local villagers and those in the know down in Chambery and Annecy. Our village has a wonderful restaurant and our home from home is fully equipped for great nights in around the wood burner. Skiing here is very different to the big resorts! Also, Annecy, the Venice of the Apls, is just a short drive for a special night out.

Anyway... enough of all that! Have a terrific time and apols again for crashing in....

Paul and Wendy (just google le chatox and hit the winter tab!)

Very Happy
