Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

buzz skis

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, Does anyone have any thoughts on buzz skis? I'm looking at getting a pair of the 97cm snowblades with the ski binding for my wife. Any reviews would be appreciated.

Thanks, archie.

Oozie1,

May well find all reviews and comments are pretty negative, I had lots of fun over several weeks on blades but now just use skis as not fit enough to use my blades. (they may still make it into ski bag)

As long as having fun and not endangering anyone with comparative lack of control then go for it.

As long as she is happy staying on piste and doesn't mind boarders and skiers comments then why not after all it's about having fun.

Technique wise need fore/aft balance to be pretty spot on or faceplants and falling off the back would be commonplace.

dont worry about it brother, it's all fur coat and no knickers around here sometimes - blades tend to bring out a bit of snobbiness - so much so that there's probably a thought that your query is a simple troll!!

Cant give you any feedback on these skis, but dont let anyone put you off enjoying em if that's your's and the good lady's bag

(ps, blades are best paired with a funny jester-syle hat Toofy Grin)

The Buzz was 99cm?
Great for a laugh one afternoon, on piste, but that's about it imho (speaking as someone who has bladed quite a bit in the past). Wouldn't buy them new. Blag a pair for an afternoon to mess around on.
