Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi
sorry...another how long should my skis be???

I normally ski on 158cm skis. I am about 5 foot 3. i have the chance of a good deal on a pair of waybacks at my local shop. but am a bit worried about the extra 10cm. will it make that much difference? I am an advanced skier. any thoughts/experience on these skis?

167cm seems quite long for your height, I know nothing about this ski but if it's a softer ski for off-piste then you might love it. It probably depends what you're skiing just now as well, going 10cm longer and a load stiffer and wider may not be much fun. 7cm taller than you isn't ridiculous however I think K2s may actually be quite long for their stated length so it may work out more than that. Saying all that it's only another 5cm on the front and back and if you're a decent skier you should be fine with that, sorry not much help.
